I got up early Saturday morning and met up with the running group. We ran 4 miles - and I made a new friend! yeah! Plus, we had a "breakfast meeting" afterward that included bagels and chocolate milk. OMG chocolate milk is the best thing EVER after running.
I watched a couple movies, too. (and remembered at least 3 that I need to add to my favorites list - including The Other Sister and Wedding Crashers - and NOW, John Tucker Must Die. TOO ADORABLE.) Oh, I tried watching You, Me, and Dupree (SUCKAGE) but couldn't get through it (even if Kate Hudson is so pretty and I love to check out her outfits) and I watched Shopgirl, which was suprisingly good.
This morning, we got up early and took dad out to breakfast. Abby was enjoying the new garden that my mom planted at my dad's house.
We took dad to breakfast for Father's day. And he showed Mark some electronic spray cleaner thing for his bikes.
Notice how neither of them was trying to be in the photo. lol
Later in the day I mowed the lawn and got so hot that even though the water in the pool was FREEZING it still felt pretty damn good. End the day with a pretty yard, a bbq and a full tummy, plus a clean car and a nice boy. I'm a happy girl.

You can run 4 MILES? Holy hell woman, how? I can barely run for 5 minutes without dying.. and I've been working my way up to that for four weeks! *shuffles awkwardly*

I also watched You, Me and Dupree and felt the same way. Kate Hudson is so cute, but the movie really had no flow or point really and the ending was weird. I don't really know what they were thinking when they made that movie...

I get such bad shin splints when I run. So I avoid it at all costs.

The whole reason to run on a weekend morning is brunch afterwards! I don't stop at the bagels, though... I have to have eggs, sausage, english muffin, coffee, mimosa... my stomach is growling just thinking about it!
I would love to have a weekend where I could watch 3 movies. I recorded John Tucker. Hopefully I will get to watch it someday.

First of all ... you're an awesome runner chick. You have my admiration.
Second, did you read Shopgirl? I loved it. It's one of the few books I've read that I'm not ashamed to acknowledge.
