I was wide awake this morning. Not because I was being good and getting up when my alarm went off. I wasn't really AWAKE until after I'd turned the alarm off.
I was awake because Mark was awake. I WOKE UP when he sat up abruptly and snuggled into me and said, "I'm sorry! Are you okay?!" Somehow, I was hugging him and he was saying, "It's okay." And I wanted to laugh because, as usual, he was still kind of asleep.
Apparently, what had happened was that his elbow knocked into his cup of water that was on the nightstand. The cup fell and splashed a little and either the noise, the impact, or the water woke him up. (Did I mention that he doesn't like to wake up? it's NOT an easy task). BUT, he thought Salem spilled the water, and that when his elbow hit something, it must have been my head. (why does my head keep coming up in these situations?)
I tried to explain to him what really happened (the water happened to fall and sit straight up, so hardly any water made it out onto the floor). But I was laughing. And apparently, he was still pretty sleepy. So I spent a few minutes this morning explaining what happened to him over email.
I thought I was doing us a favor by listening to classical music before bed rather than watching some crazy TV show or something like that. I'm not sure if the music helped, but the water certainly didn't!

Haha, poor Mark! He sounds like me in the mornings.. not very coherent until I'm doused with a bucket o'water. Or something. ;)
K-Fed is making MORE babies? Oh hell!
OK.
I had to read this twice to understand what actually happened.
LOL!
Sometimes Tim talks in his sleep.
Now that's disturbing.
The way this started out, I thought Mark peed the bed.
It's a good thing he didn't because then I'd never be able to meet him in person with out laughing and pointing at him.
Aimee, aimee... you and your double entendre blog posts! At least Mark's heart is in the right place, even though he's confused in the morning a lot.
Why is he always beating you in his sleep? LOL
I think it was Salem that knocked over the water cause he went running, the water bouncing off the bed and falling between the bed and the shelf made a fair amount of noise that translated into a louder noise that was integrated into whatever I was dreaming, I jerked awake, hit my elbow on the wall when i turned over and thought I had racked her bean so I was kinda freaked out.
Sheesh, guess i should have snuggled my elbow. :)
wet dream hahahaha poor mark
Poor Salem gets blamed for everything. :P
Woah the title of this scared me at first!
LOL - I wasn't sure what to think of the title either, but it was a great story :-)
