Last night was so much fun. Mark and I had a real live date! We did a little shopping (and went to lunch) and then later, we headed to the Rivercats baseball game. It was a good game - they were kicking butt for like the first 7 innings and then they got a new pitcher and he SUCKED. So he gave up two runs before we beat them 3 to 2. Woot!
Apparently, on Saturday nights, they do fireworks over the river after the game. It was the COOLEST THING. They were like just RIGHT THERE. It was really fun. Afterward we went to Big Spoon (the frozen yogurt place with TOO MANY toppings) and then came home for a rousing game of yahtzee and 1/2 a movie (I fell asleep).
Today it's back to the grind. A house to clean, laundry to do, lawns to mow. Our date was definitely a nice break from the everyday.

Real live dates are so much fun because when you live with someone it's easy to forget what it's like to actually go on a real date.
It is nice to get away and enjoy each other once in a while. Sounds like you had fun.
